We are a small, independent business specialising in industrial style items, vintage furniture, aged zinc and other vintage/quirky items. If you are looking for an industrial chic style, reclaimed pieces (some call it upcycling!) or the distressed and worn finish to your furniture then we are the people for you!
James was an antiques dealer who had a shop - Vintage18 - in Camden Passage for a number of years, he always had an eye for the more unusual items. A move to Hertfordshire has allowed him to set up this internet based business- for the last few years he has been a one man show but recently has taken on Jacob, Sam and now Catherine to help with the increasing demand! The workshop is based on a farm - we are hoping to have a showroom at some point but for now if you want to see the items then you can make an appointment to visit.
Painted Furniture - Please note- we have had to stop this service due to high demand for our bespoke furniture- I am hoping to re introduce this part of the business later in the year
Our expert craftsman has perfected his paint technique over years and the resulting finish is one that really stands out amongst the painted furniture seen on the high street or other shops.
Zinc-topped
We also have a range of zinc topped furniture. Tables, desks and plan chests topped with aged zinc - a truly unique look. The zinc is aged to create the weathered patina that normally would take years to achieve.
